Twilight

Just like this sky is my mind;
somewhere between day and night;
somewhere between light and dark;
somewhere between heaven and hell;
somewhere between human and beast.

You dug out the man in me,
dead and buried centuries ago.
Never did I know I could smell rose;
Never did I know I could feel silk;
Never did I know I could dream;
Never did I know I could feel the warmth;
the warmth of Love...
a wamth so human; a warmth so alien...

You are asleep on my lap;
An Angel is asleep on a Demon's lap...
The Man fights the Beast;
the feeble man fights the mighty beast...
He draws his strength from the warmth;
he fights with the weapon of love.
He fights to tame the beast and lock him up...

But, one day the man will grow weak,
he will wither...
the beast will draw his strength...
lurking in a corner, prowling for his time,
overcome by instinct,
the beast will slay the man;

Now, the beast has won the battle.
The prey lured on to its lap...
The scent tingling the animal instinct...
Oh! Your delicious scent...

Oh! Your delicious blood...

The Twilight always ends in the dark...
